Oh I'm terrible with this. I'll run the dishwater, then of course never get around to emptying it. So now I have dirty dishes piling up in the sink, on the counters.
OK just wondering. With my sister in this week there's been confusion if the dishes in the machine are clean or not.
In my reality full of systems and routines: You fill the dishwasher with dirty dishes and run the machine. Once the machine is done running it gets emptied for the next use. The emptying does not need to happen right away (it can be upwards of a few days) but once you open the lock on the machine put the clean dishes away!
Therefore, anything in the machine is dirty. No questions asked.
I just wanted to know what other people did and if what I did made sense or if I was on crack.
This is a site for my random: Thoughts, opinions, questions, stories, and rants.
Chowderhead - Chow·der·head \chau-dr-he-d\ noun (1) Someone who really likes Chowder in all it's incarnations
(2) Someone with a head full of chowder (3) Jolterhead (4) Blockhead (5) Dolt
I don't like to be labeled or stereotyped but here are some adjectives and phrases others have used to describe me: Bitchy, funny, irreverent, hyper, type-A, irritable, a loose cannon, silly, crazy, loyal, crude, mercurial, LOUD, obnoxious, deep, full of sh!t, driven, foolish, judgemental, witty, mental, pissy, clever, an enigma, poultry in motion, crusty, amazing, impossible, perfectionist, a simple creature, confusing, warm, caring, sensitive, thoughtful, a diamond in the rough. Glutton. You read and decide for yourself which ones fit me. OR suggest some more!!

If I had a dishwasher I would put a sign up saying, clean, please put away.
But I get the feeling that this would not be the case all the time.

*sigh*
I need to get a better system.
