Dinner at J's
Last night HC and I went to J's for my belated B-day dinner.J may not be handy around the house but in the kitchen he's quite the expert. He and I both grew up working in our parent's restaurants so he knows his way around the kitchen.
The menu:
- Salad with roasted pine nuts and a balsamic & fig dressing.
- Handmade crab cakes
- Gnocchi with a fresh basil pesto.
- Blackberry Flan.
We took over a bottle of 2000 Clos Pegase Cabernet Sauvignon. There was also champagne & Belgian chocolates.
The meal and the company were out of this world!
