Winter Solstice

Yesterday was the Winter Solstice. Officially the shortest day of the year. The beginning of winter.

That may not mean much for most people. But for people like me who get a little depressed and grumpy by the lack of sunlight it's a sign that better/brighter days are ahead.

Yes, it's overcast and raining but it's supposedly brighter for 1 more minute.

Michelle: Now let's not get crazy. We do live in Pittsburgh afterall.

How about more overcast? Or more partly cloudy? That's more like it around here.
