Something nice happened on the way to the bus today
I asked the crossing guard how the boy that got hit last week was. She said he had a few scrapes and bruises but was OK.A few of his classmates recognized me and thanked me for helping. They thought I was “Awesome” and said I could wait for my bus with them any time.
Where were kids like this when I was their age? I might have been popular. I might have been cool. Nah…. I would have had a swollen head.
